What Students Say
Anna Kate Broadus:
"The Communication Department at Baylor is without a doubt the place to be! Being a part of the Baylor Comm family has truly been one of the greatest blessings Baylor has brought me. My dedicated and engaging professors and fellow students have allowed me to capitalize on my strengths while sharpening my weaknesses. They have helped me to walk through doors that I didn't even know were possibilities. These people have become my mentors and my friends...my family away from home. The joy that fills the halls and classrooms of Castellaw Communications Center is contagious and invigorates me daily! I am thankful for the opportunity to have served as a social media intern for the department and am eager to begin my masters through the 4+1 Program!"
Sidney Dietz:
“Baylor Communications is unlike any other department here at Baylor. I have never felt more loved, encouraged, believed in, and cared for by faculty and staff. I did not begin my Baylor journey as a Communication major, however after a lot of prayer and wisdom the Lord led me down 3rd street to pursue an education in Corporate Communications. I have had the opportunity to be the Communication Department social media intern and pursue a masters degree within this department and none of it would have been possible without the love and support from staff and peers. If you’re looking to learn academically, grow spiritually, and be guided by incredible leadership, Baylor Communications is where you need to be! Sic Em Baylor Comm!!”
Molly McManus:
"The Communications Department here at Baylor has been one of the biggest blessings in my time here at Baylor. I was really unsure of what I wanted to do or where I would fit in when I started my freshman year, and deciding to be a Corporate Communications major led me to a community with open arms and the best people I’ve ever known. In addition to meeting some of my best friends, I have also had the pleasure of being taught by the most incredible professors. Every single Comm class I have taken has led to genuine relationships with the professors, who care about how well you do both in the classroom and in your personal life! I am so grateful for this department and the way it develops and cares for its students."
