Study Abroad Programs

Baylor in London

Since 2000, Baylor in London has been the Department of Communication’s flagship study abroad experience. Each Summer II term, students live and learn in London while traveling throughout the UK, earning up to six hours of 4000-level course credit. This immersive program helps students develop vital skills in collaboration, inquiry, and team facilitation, while gaining a global perspective in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

For information about the 2026 Baylor in London experience, please contact Dr. Kayla Rhidenour or Dr. Ashley Barrett.

Baylor Communication & International Politics

Led by Dr. Luke Winslow each Summer I term, this study abroad program explores the intersection of communication and international politics through a comparative lens. Students examine the foundations of democracy in the U.S. and Western Europe while visiting culturally and politically significant cities. Past destinations have included Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal.

For information about the 2026 Communication & International Politics experience, please contact Dr. Luke Winslow.

Baylor in New York

In partnership with the Department of Film and Digital Media, Baylor in New York offers students the opportunity to spend a full semester in New York City -- one of the world’s great cultural and media capitals. Students take a full course load while gaining real-world experience through internships in communication, media, and related industries.

For more information about the Baylor in New York, visit the program's website or contact Dr. Joe Kickasola.
