Undergraduate Programs
Our undergraduate majors gain the knowledge and skills essential to thrive in a variety of professional paths. Through a broad-based liberal arts education that spans the humanities and social sciences, students acquire understanding of how communication processes create our social worlds, cultivate abilities to analyze those processes, and exercise practical skills in their relationships, work, and communities.
The Department of Communication offers two undergraduate majors (and secondary majors), the BA Communication and the BA Communication Specialist, and two minors, Corporate Communication and Rhetoric and Public Discourse.
