Teaching Philosophy:
The classroom is a powerful place where students can hone their skills and ways of thinking. Because of this, I try to develop a classroom environment where students can find their voice, speak their minds, and learn how to actively and openly listen to others. Together, these principles allow for the classroom space (even online!) to be a collaborative place that is both welcoming and challenging.

- CSS 1302 Speech for Business and Professional Students

Family, Outside Hobbies, and Interests:
After four incredible years in Waco, my husband and I recently moved to Plano for his work. We’ve loved exploring the DFW metroplex and its plethora of activities and restaurants. In my free time, you can find me watching movies at the cinema, thrifting for treasures, reading scans of vintage fashion magazines, or just playing with my dog at home.
What is the best thing about being a Baylor Bear?
Baylor has a lot of strengths, but at the end of the day, I love Baylor’s Communication Department the most. The department has brought me fantastic students, excellent colleagues, friendly staff, and lifelong friends from my time as a graduate student. I could not recommend the Communication Department enough!
