Family, Outside Hobbies and Interests:
My passion is teaching college students, but outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ryan, and son, Griffin. We have two cats, S’more & Bunny, and a dog, Rusty. We live outside of Waco in the city of Temple, so I commute to work. I don’t mind the long drive because it gives me the chance to listen to audiobooks. Living between both cities gives me the best of both worlds, and twice the number of restaurants to enjoy! In my free time I enjoy reading, interior design and home repair, catching up on my favorite shows, and napping.
What is the best thing about being a Baylor Bear?
There are so many wonderful parts about being a Baylor Bear, but one of the best parts is the loving community in which students, faculty, and staff can continue to grow and learn. You’ll find so many supportive individuals who want you to succeed and are happy to help support you in your dreams and goals. The community at Baylor is also filled with the love of Christ! As humans, we’re definitely not perfect, but here we try to show grace, mercy, forgiveness, kindness, faithfulness, compassion, and love. It’s a very unique place to be, so don’t lose it as you move on in your career, instead take a piece of Baylor with you.
